I aam planning to make doors for my house.the doors are 8ft by 4ft. The doors are going to be made using marine ply and wood. Its there some polish or finish I can use to protect it from direct rain.help urgent

They call it exterior paint. Works well on houses too.

Spar varnish if you want to see the wood grain. 2-3 coats would look great.

Problem with that is its going to need frequent refinishing...like every couple years at most. Why I did not recommend it for that application where direct sun and rain will hit it constantly.

If there was a large porch protecting it I would say otherwise.
