I saw a film a long long time ago and I'm desperate to see it again...I only ever saw it the once and my memories of it are vague...It was a horror film from around the 1980s and it was evil...very evil...very dark...scary...I remember a town like the ones from the western movies...I remember the community all dancing in one scene...everyone partying and then all of a sudden you see these red eyes...maybe in a window or under a chair...sum thing like that...maybe it was in a photo taken of the people dancing...then I remember the bottle...a bottle kept in a barn...it was very evil...maybe it glowed but it certainly made awful noises...I think it made the noise of a baby screaming...until you open the door and it would stop...maybe the film also had sum thing to do with a little girl...I can't remember anything else...please somebody...help!

Stuartterrell - thats great that you found your movie - I spent quite a bit of time trying to find it myself, with no luck (obviously...) your description was a good one too...guess its just a matter of putting in the perfect search words...well done, and welcome to the site!
