My 5 month old puppy today when I came home from work had gotten into the house and found our toliet paper. She was playing with it and I believe digested some. She has thrown up and now having difficulty breathing....it sounds raspy and hard for her to breathe. Its a deep rasp and looks like taking everything she has to breathe. What should I do?

My dogs are famous for stealing the TP an having at party at my expense, I would call the vet first thing in the morning. In the meantime have you looked in its mouth to see if anything my be lodged inside? I also would try rubbing the throat while holding it's head at a upward angle. May try to give your baby a very small teaspoon of olive oil, my first choice or corn oil an rub the throat lightly again with nose pointed upward slightly to help the possible lodged TP to flow loose. Do not do it again if he/she seems distressed by this the first time. Mine digest the TP, so I hope yours will also if you can get it loose. Water also while rubbing lightly, may help, I repeat stop if the doggy seems stressed by this, just stop an wait until you can see the vet. It may also disslove by itself. Follow up any way with the vet to ensure puppy is healthy. Hope that's all that was wrong with your puppy an it will get a clean bill of health. Please remember that this is a suggestion an you are the dog owner, it's up to you wether or not you feel this may work an to try it. God Bless
