I have an Honeywell mechanical thermostat. When the switch is in the on position, the fan will eventually cut out. When I have it on auto, it continues to start and stop with heating and cooling, no issues. Is this solely a thermostat issue, or is there more to it? I am thinking I just need to replace the thermostat. Looking for feedback. Thanks.
