I have a dishwasher installed in a kitchen island. The island is designed such that the dishwasher is bordered on the right side by a panel, on the left side by the sink cabinet, and on the back with another cabinet (the island has cabinets on both sides). I've noticed that the backing on the cabinet is very thin and is now warped as a result of the heat given off by our new Miele dishwasher.
I need to replace this! What would be the best material?
Thanks!
:)

How much room is there? I'd just order a laminate (like Formica) glued to both sides of 1/2" plywood. Or buy a ready made laminate 24" wide door and attach it. You don't really see it much, right?
