Do you have a whole house filter or water softener? Even with city water, many people have filters, or softeners which can "plug up". Also, do you have a pressure reducing valve on you water service? If so, that would be a good place to start checking. Lots of option here. How old is the home, and what is the water piping material,, copper, galvanized, plastic, etc. The more info you can give about your system the better we can try to help out.
