If someone on probation is arrested for another crime, will there be a trial for that crime and if found innocent is probation violation void?

Maybe. But, they can find technical reasons to violate you if they really want to.

Maybe, did you notify the PO of the new charges when it happened, not reporting a contact with police is often more serious than some of the reasons for arresting to many PO.

Next what was the charge, if you were "with" other people who had drugs but you got off because they were not yours, just being with other people who had drugs can be a violation.

So exactly what happened, where it happened and what you did after wards all makes a difference
