my danze tub spout is leaking at the allen key hole when the water is turned on. How do I fix it or is this normal?

Hi Jen

Nope...not normal...;)

Loosen/remove the allen screw and then twist and pull the old tub spout to take it off.

Purchase a new universal fit tub spout of similar type from home depot or lowes. Be sure to bring the old tub spout with you (pack it in a plastic bag) for comparison, if needed.

If your old tub spout has orings purchase a small container of silicone grease while at the store. If your tub spout is threaded purchase some pipe dope for the threads.
