I am having intermittent pinging and clunking noises in the pipes for my hot water baseboard heating. The heat is not on. Does any one have any idea what is going on or how to fix it. My house is sold with inspections on Tuesday. I am in a panic about what to do.

It sounds like air movement within the pipes. Best to call a local HVAC person to be on site to sort it all out since it can be caused by a few different things and you would not want to mess up your inspections.
