Hi,

I live in Queens and work in Manhattan. Do I have to pay NY city tax ? Is Queens a part of NY-City-Tax-Locations? Or is it just Manhattan?

Queens is one of the boroughs of New York City and IS considered to be part of NY city for NYC incoime tax purposes.

If your employer is NOT withholding NY City income taxes, have him start immediately, because when you file and show your Queens address, the NY state tax authorities will expect you to pay NYC income taxes on the NYC income tax section of the NY Form IT-201.
