My 4 year old maltese zu is walking around in circles usually clockwise and looks like she has been drinking......She is eating ok but appears to be clumsy

two days ago my four year old maltese su (she is also deaf from birth) started walking around in circles all the time and appears drunk lol she has become clumsy and restless and has trouble jumping on the lounge or bed;;;;she is eating/drinking ok though.

My first thought is check her ears. I know in people that ear infections can throw you off of balance and if she is in pain that could be why she is walking in circles. Maybe a visit to the vet is in order to make sure it is nothing serious and to get treatment for it.
