On Friday I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. On Friday I forgot to take my birth control but took it the day before and Saturday. My boyfriend did not in me but we had sex like three times. He went farther in me than usual. But the day after I had a mild case of cramps then a brownish discharge but more in a mucas way. I now feel boated for the past week and im gassy . What does this mean?

You had sex....therefore its possible you got pregnant....you had unprotected sex...that means its more likely than if you had.

Plain and simple...

If you miss pills it lowers their effect. PLUS even if you took them perfectly they are not 100 percent effective, 1000s of women get pregnant every week using pills and condoms both.

So why you think you can not be pregnant is beyond me,

The spotting could be because he was "rougher" in his sex this time.

If your period doesn't come in the next month...take a HPT at that time. Its still too early to take one and get a valid result.

And I suggest taking a class in human reproduction. Based on what you asked in your post....your understanding of how it really works is based on rumour, heresay, gossip, girl talk and anything but proven facts.

But if I took a pill the day after could that make the chances of me being pregnant not as high?

There is no..."a little bit pregnant"....you either are or you aren't. You have to sweat it out now untl enough time has passed to take a test.

In a month...if your period has not come...take a test and see what it tells you. If its positive...time to tell your boyfriend to get ready to be a dad....if its a negative go to your gynecologist to find out why you didn't have your period.

Look at it this way......the month starts when you last has sex. If your period comes on or shortly after the 20th.....you dodged a bullet. if it doesn't come...take that test at the one month mark.

And seriously....find a place to get a proper education in human reproduction....if you rely on the information you had up until now...this is going to happen again. (and your friends don't know 1/2 of what they think they know so unless they are a Registered Nurse or Doctor, they are a poor source for information)) Because even if you get lucky this time...the next time you might not. And trust me...when that happens...everything changes forever. And I get the feeling...you are anything BUT ready for that to happen.
