I got my navel pierced May 19th, and the past few days its been kinda..weird.. there is a clean discharge coming from just the top hole and so white sticky pus.. I've been cleaning it twice a day with salt and warm water mixed. but I only noticed it was kind of pussing when i had to get into my pool with the addition of five waterproof band aids when I got out I had noticed the top part had a whitish substance coming from it what is it?

Belly button piercings are very easy to become infected. A swimming pool is an awful place to get into with a new piercing. Any discharge especially one that is white is probably pus. You need to clean it really good when in the shower. Soap and water is good alcohol is great if you can tolerate it because it will burn. See a physician if it continues but no more swimming. You have to let it heal. It is already in a warm moist place that is a great median for bacteria to grow.
