Hi,

I need some clarifications on FICA deductions.

I converted to H1 on oct 2011 .My employer forgot to deduct FICA since then .
they have realised it now.

so am I fully liable to repay the 7.5% taxes???

are there any loopholes I could use?

You owe them...there are no loopholes.
