I have a 13 yr old Carrier Weathermaker gas furnace. There is a great deal of condensation building up in the outgoing vent connector and pipe. The furnace will only maintain the temp, maybe add a degree. But it won't raise the temp 4-5 degrees at a time like I need in the AM.

The more the furnace runs, a gurgling sound begins and gets louder and louder. When it shuts off, a good 16-20 ounces of water drain out.

I took off the condensation collector and have the hoses draining directly into a pail. It appears that no condensation drains off until the furnace shuts down. And it also appears that the build up of condensation is what is causing the furnace to shut off prematurely.

I blew out some of the hoses with a compressor. Ran a wire to clean out a few as well. Still no change.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks....Jack K

Best to call a professional on this one. Your secondary heat exchanger could be restricted. This is not a usual operating condition for that furnace.
