In Canada when a possible employer does a background check will charges pending show up

What do you mean by charges pending ? have you been charged and not gone to trial, or are the police merely considering charging you ?

If there are no charges at all, there is nothing to show up

Sorry I meant i have yet to go to court This is in Canada not the USA. Does a fie still show up if i'm waiting for trial

They will not show up, to any employer ( private sector employer) government agencies may be able to see it.
