I've been seeing a girl for a few months now and I finally asked her out last week. Everything has been so perfect, we love each other and make each other happy. A few months ago while we were in the early stages of seeing each other a friend and I played a stupid prank on her. We scared the hell out of her so much that she couldn't even stay in her house that night. She always has suspicions that it was me but I've always denied it. The other day she finally figured it out and I denied it again, but the guild was driving me crazy so I confessed. The issue is now that I have broken her trust, and her last boyfriend did the same thing and she gave him a chance and she was unhappy for their whole relationship until they broke up. I've done everything I can to apologise to her and assure her that I will never do this again, I wrote her a letter explaining my feelings for her and she responded with "words don't mean anything, I don't believe you". She knows I love her so much and I care about her, but from her past experiences she refuses to give me another chance and take me back. I've learnt my lesson and I'm willing to spend the rest of my life making it up to her and assuring her it won't happen again. I've run out of ideas and we are barely hanging on by a string now. Please help me!

I'm lost here...

You say you've been seeing her for a few months now, yet you just asked her out last week. Then you say how perfect it all has been and how much in love you two are... after one week?

Basically, you broke her trust, she's pissed. Maybe she'll get over it eventually... probably not.

Sorry for the confusion, we were seeing each other for a few months and pretty much acted as if we were dating then I asked her out.

We waited that long and let our feelings grow, so it's not just after a week it has been months of seeing each other which built our feelings towards each other up.
