old shower diverter spout. no allen screw at all. i got the spout off because it was corroded through. had to saw off the pull handle to do it. now i have the plastic piece that mounts to the pipe on the pipe (still no set screw). ok when i rotate it counterclockwise it still won"t come off. its loose on the pipe like there's rubber holding it on and i can't pull it from the pipe. Help!
