Hi,

My first H1b was a cap-exempt H1b and worked for 1 Yr.
Later, moved to a cap-subjected H1B and worked for 1.5 yrs
I moved to another cap-exempt H1b and worked for 1 yrs.

Below are the timelines, if they matter:
First Job, Cap exempt H1B sept 2008-sept 2009.
Second Job, Cap Subjected H1b October 2009-March 2011.
Third job , Cap Exempt H1b April 2011-May 2012(still employed).

Now, I am planing to move to another Cap Subjected H1b Job. I am wondering if I have to wait till October 1st to be counted in the cap.

Thank you in advance.
