I had black hair and desperately wanted to dye it a bright red. I didn't know that in order to do so, I had to bleach my hair to get rid of the black dye. I just went to Target and picked up a red hair dye and attempted to color my hair, but it did not change my hair color. The next day I did some research and figured out I had to bleach it, so that's what I did and then I redyed it with the same color red. But my hair turned out burgundy and is still dark at the ends of my hair, I want to get it to a bright red. What should I do?
