Hi. I was caught shoplifting at zellers and got charged $400 for it and last week I shoplifted at dollarama and they said that they're NOT charging me because it's only one thing. I'm worried that i'm going to court or jail. what happens then? They said i wasn't gonna get charged for it..

If dollarama did not call the police and told you that you were not going to be charged, then you will not be charged, you may be banned from the store, they willl most likely have your photo on the wall near security to have you watched if you go back in.

On the other store zellers, you said that you were going to be charged, to you will be fingerprinted and have your photo taken by the police and will have to appear in court with your parents. You will get a fine and probation for this time. Also each store may also send a civil penalty to your parents for them to pay, @ 200 to 500 per store.

That zellers is all over with because my lawyer said that I'm just a minor so there will be no court or jail or finger printing done. Now i'm worried that it happened again that I might go to jail or court..
