My wife did not work or receive a paycheck in 2006 but her previous employer sent a W2 with blank amounts. The only thing that is shown is the retirement box checked. I cannot eFile this W2. Do I need to report it?

Report that you received the W-2 but enter zero's in the fields of it.

The tax software may prevent efiling on blank W-2s. If you do not report it, I sincerely doubt the IRS will be concerned since no income was reported.

If you MUST efile, ignore the W-2.
