My son has just finished serving his time in N. Carolina and is on the sex offender registry. While he was in prison, I remarried and moved to Texas. Now that he is out of prison, we would like to visit since we haven't seen each other in so long, but I'm not sure if he can visit my home without having my entire neighborhood notified that he is here for a week or two. Is there a limit to how many days he can visit me without having to report my address?

It depends on the level of sex offense and the terms of his probation. He should be discussing this with his probation officer. It is likely that he will not be allowed to travel out of state for a period of time.
