I'm 18 yrs old about to be 19 in may. I just recently got priority partner health insurance and I just want to know what does that cover? I live in Maryland.
Iv been wanting to look for an insurance that helps cover braces. I have a some crocked teeth that I want fixed and braces are just so expensive.

Is Priority Partner Health Insurance through your employer or is it state insurance?

Remember that this is a global website, so many of us are not familiar with the insurances in all areas.

Most private insurances will cover a portion of the cost of braces, but not all of the cost. State insurances typically do not cover braces unless the teeth are causing a medical problem rather than a simple cosmetic problem.

It is one of the 8 managed care programs though the state Medicaid program.

The dental coverage is very minor. You can get some fillings some teeth filled.
If you buy your own private insurance ( assume you can't afford it, if you are on the state medicaid program) but even with private insurance normally braces and major repair will not be covered for 1 or 2 years and normally only cover 1/2 of the costs.
