About 20 years ago I saw a movie in black and white, about a guy that had to live half time in the water and half time at sea. I remember it had very nice orchestral music as the score. I looked for it for many years and today I stumbled upon The Amphibious Man (Russian 1961-1962) I saw it but I remember that the main girl in the movie had blonde long hair, (she reminds of brigitte bardot). I know there is a writer that wrote a book called "The Experiment" (Richard Setlowe) in which the plot is very similar. So my question is weather anybody knows if there were american or other country remakes of Amphibian Man, or movies based on Richard Setlowe "The Experiment" or any movie with the same plot. I remember vividly that the last scene had the guy walking into the sea after saying good bye to the girl. Yes I know, the russian made Amphibian Man has the very same last scene, but in the last scene I remember there were only the guy and the girl saying good bye and in the russian version the last scene has three actors interacting, so that's not the one I am looking for. I have looked for this movie for almost 15 years. I would really appreciate any help. Thank You and God Bless You!

I don't know if that was an answer or just an assertion about the upcoming new version of Amphibious Man.

Quoting from my post: Does "anybody knows if there were american or other country remakes of Amphibian Man, or movies based on Richard Setlowe "The Experiment" or any movie with the same plot". I am talking here about am old remake, around the time the original Amphibious Man was made, or a remade in the immediate years after the russian version.
