So long as the animal you are hunting is Halal, and will be used for Meat and not sport.

Insha Allah this link will help you find your answer.

Ibn 'Abbas (Radiya Allahu Anhu) reported that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: "Do not make a living creature into a target" . [Reported by Imam Muslim ]. Ibn 'Umar (Radiya Allahu Anhu) said, "that Allah's Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) cursed anyone who makes a living thing into a target" . [Reported by Imam Muslim ].

I believe it is only permissible for necassasity or food, and not for amusement/sports.
