On reboot, Windows XP, I receive a window pop "syssetsymaddr64" savedump.exe not found in DBGhelp.DLL. Not sure what this is or how to fix it.

Try this webpage for help:

Symsetsymwithaddr64 (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic64564.html)

Hmmmm... or maybe not - I think it's a different error.

Thanks Lord_Darkclaw. The error is identical to the one explained on that webpage (I had a typo in my question). This all began when I was installing Pinnacle Studio 10.5 software. I received the blue screen of death and afterward starting getting the "savedump.exe" error message, “The procedure entry point SymsetSymWithAddr64 could not be located in the dynamic link library dbghelp.dll”. I'll try running the sfc /scannow command in Safe Mode using my original XP disc as suggested by someone on that webpage Hopefully that will work??

Good luck Bob, those blue screens do make you panic don't they?
It's probably just a minor error and you'll be up and running soon - I hope so, anyway.
