Over the past few days I have been having trouble hearing and this is because my breathing and my voice seem amplified in my head, its never happened before and I'm not sure if I should go to the doctor

First go buy some antihistamines - Benadryl or decongestants of other chemistry. Maybe buy a few kinds.
Usually this is a sign of clogged sinuses without a sniffle and cough.
If that's not it in 2 days, see a doctor. He or she will just ask if you tried the above.
