All I remember is there was a pre-teen girl who lived in a large victorian style house with her mother. I can't recall if she had siblings or not. They didn't have much money - they were renting the home. The girl was the main character and occasionally her friends from school would come over - I remember one episode about her not wanting new friends to know how poor they were. I seem to remember that she often sat in her window seat and maybe wrote in a diary. I feel like it came on Saturday or Sunday mornings.

USA. I can actually only attest to it airing in Dallas, TX. - though it was a normal cable channel rather than a basic channel so I'm sure there were other markets.
