I have really Dark Brown hair and I was wondering if I dyed it auburn will it turn out that color? Please let me know

Maybe, If you use a extremely high quality dye. But usually it just turns out looking like small highlights that you can only see in sunlight. But I'm not sure, since I am a boy and I have short hair, maybe it works way better with longer hair. I recommend going to a hair salon and ask for it to be dyed auburn.
