When I open documents, sometimes I get a hour glass showing that the document will open but it never does. And, sometimes that same thing happens after I got the doucment open (already a document--just using this as a template) and then try to resave it, causing me to loose everything typed. Why does this happen? My computer just sits there. However, I can minimize it and go to other places.

More details are needed. More info about your system. What type of documents are they? What software are you using to open these documents? Did you create these docs or are they from another source?

Are you using antivirus software?
