I am trying to establish a painting business. I am really not sure on how to price jobs.
Should I price on the sq ft or by the hour or day. And when charging by sq ft is it for two coats plus primer and trim, etc or is that all in? Please help

Have not found a formula that works for all painting jobs.

The repair work that has to be done varies from place to place.

The biggest thing is location. Different parts of country have different pricing.

The amount of trim, number of doors and windows. Are u painting doors. Type of door. Type of trim.

Go with what u want to make and adjust ur price as u go.
