My husband Greg and I have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years with no luck. We began seeing a fertility specialist because I have polycystic ovarian syndrome and we figured that might be the problem. Even with the Polycystic I got my periods regularly until last year. I had surgery in Jan of 05 because I had a closed Fallopian tube so the doctor removed it. After that I gained quite a bit of weight and now I don't get my periods regularly. I have a cousin that is the same way (she never got her period) but she has two kids. I'm so confused on what could be causing this. A close friend of mine who also has polycystic ovarian syndrome just gave birth to a healthy baby girl with no help from a doctor. So im wondering if my weight gain has anything to do with my absent periods and if anyone had some ideas or stories of what to try to get pregnant. We switched insurance companies and no longer have infertility coverage so we would like to try anything and everything before going back to the doctor. Any help would be great!!!! Thank you!!!!!
