I'd like some information on two sets of China that I have acquired, one set given to me, the other I bought at an amazing price. Would like to know the value of each set.

1-I have a almost complete set of China, made by Edwin Knowles, circa 1949 (I believe), pattern name: Vintage, pattern #: X4041. My grandmother had a set, and my best friend recently passed her mother's set to me as I always admired them. She thinks her mother might have gotten this set piece-by-piece from the A&P grocery store in the 40's. I believe this could be true, as my grandmother worked at the local A&P and had the same set of china. I am missing a few pieces, but have found a website with replacement pieces and will soon complete the set. Anyone know of the value of this China? (I have enclosed a picture).

2-Recently while at a thrift store, I came across a complete service for 8 (no chips, no dings), set of China made by International China of Japan. #3693 and pattern name Eileen. No matter what this set is worth, it was a steal because I only paid $7.00 for the entire set (it was marked down from their thrift store price of 39.99). I have included a picture of that set of china as well.

I don't want to sell either set, because I intend to pass one set down to daughter and one to daughter-in-law in the future and would just like to know their worth.

Thank you.
