Hi

Have you joined a club or looked at getting a coach? There a good ones and there are better ones but the most important thing is that you learn the technique that is best suited for you. Good technique involves throwing and launching the discus from building up the speed in execution. The throw should always feel relaxed and graceful almost effortless. Do you have a discus to train with? Find the size that is used for you age group and practice with both the advanced sizes and your size to focus on different fitness components. Ie a heavier discus can be used to develop your strength, a lighter one used for developing rhythm and smooth execution. Do some weight training like incline bench press to help develop strength capabilities in the peck and shoulder muscles perhaps some power cleans and hangs would be helpful as well as squats for general power and strength development

I hope this gives you some ideas

Regards sara
