Hi
I am naturally a dark blonde
I've had highlights for years and fancied a change

recently I went to the salon and changed to a strawberry blonde colour all over. Not being 100% sure I made the right move in chioce of colour here, I now want to go back to my natural colour and have highlights again.

However, to get back to my original colouring (and root colour) can I put a brown dye on my hair (which is now tinted a strawberry blonde/red) ?
I;ve spent a fortune at the salon recently so intend to do this at home.
Can you suggest a colour to use ?

I then intend to put hightlights on top maybe at a later stage. basically i just want to get back to my natural dark blonde/light brown hair and just need advice on how to do this.
Don't want it to go green !
