A block of weight = 25.0 sits on a frictionless inclined plane, which makes an angle = 35.0 with respect to the horizontal, as shown in the figure. A force of magnitude = 14.3 , applied parallel to the incline, is just sufficient to pull the block up the plane at constant speed. What is , the work done on the block by the applied force as the block moves a distance = 4.60 up the incline?

For homework, we ask that the student work on the problem and reach out to us for help. Show us the work you have done so far, and where you are getting stuck.

Find the Parallel component of the weight, then just use the sum of forces equal to 0. That's all the help I'll give. Remember only use the forces parallel to the surface, (disregard normal force and the Perpendicular weight component)
