We all want to find someone to love us unconditionally like our parents are supposed to. What has been your situation up till now?

Part of the reason most people do not want to adopt teens is because by the time they reach the decision to adopt, they have been trying to conceive an infant for many years.

Many of the people who are in a position to want to adopt want a small child that they can help raise and with whom they can go through the many stages of life with.

It does not mean that teenagers are not worthy of love--they most definitely ARE!--it means that the people who are adopting have their own baggage and issues, and in many cases adoption is their last chance to raise a baby from infancy.

While there are many great teens to be adopted, sadly most are looking for younger children they can mold and children who will always think of them as their mom and dad, not the adopted parents who keep them a few years.
