I have a co worker who seems to hate everything about me. It appears that since he has found out I have a black child (toddler) he has gone all out to get me. Saying I sto;e money so I can feed my niger child. He's really going at me, telling all sorts of lies. I live in NY state is there anything I can do since he is harrasing me due to the color of my child's skin? I have told my boss but he doesn't seen to care...but my harraser says I'm about to be fired.

Thanks

Mary

Is your boss the owner ? is there a HR department,

You can and should contact the EEOC and file a complaint against your work place.

It's a private business. No HR department. The owner lives in Long Island and isn't here much. I'm just scared that if I go to EEOC they will try to fire me, because they seem just to not want to deal with it.

Mr Dagger, no they would not be beaten, if they were, the person doing it goes to jail. In MN they would be scared of saying anything in fear of losing their job.

You need to contact the owner and report what is gong on. Who is in charge on a day to day basis
