I live in New Jersey. Last summer, I worked in NY city for 10 weeks. My employer withheld NY taxes. How do I file my state tax return? Should I have to do one each for NJ and NY?

Sinc you worked for a brief period of time you may be entitled to a refund. For New Jersey, depending on income from all sources, you may be required to file a return. In general taxe liability in New York will be offset against NJ tax, if any.
