Hey i have been on the same pill for the last three years. I recently had spotting of red thought the last two weeks while i was still taking my pill, but i still continued to take it. I just started my period 3 days ago but it is all heavy brown blood it has alittle red blood here and there but just alittle. Could i be pregnant at all or is this normal? Please help Thanks

You probably are not pregnant but it may be time to go to you gynecologist and have a complete check up. Tell her about the break through bleeding. She may decide it's time to switch your birth control pills to something stronger. Anytime something out of the ordinary to your body happens always seek your gyno's advice. Don't wait - make the appointment,actually when the nurse asks if it's for a routine check up you tell them no so you don't have to wait forever for an appointment!
