My husband handed me his computer and said somethins not right...all I get is a black screen saying Memory write/read failure at 4640566C, read 44AF40AF, expecting 40AF40AF decreasing available memory.. What does this mean? I haven't seen this before and is there a way to fix it? It won't do anything other than show that message.. Any help would be great.

Sounds like RAM failure. The first part would be to source compatible replacement RAM. Then it's a matter of installing it:
