We are installing an above ground 20x12x48 inch pool. We've had a couple of issues with finding a couple of clumps of dirt that concerned us and we drained and fixed. :( We got the pool almost full...my husband happily skimming leaves out of the water and heard a sudden pop and one side shifted and one of the straps underneath has appeared to come loose. Has anyone had this happen? My husband is waiting to see exactly what went wrong but is thinking of getting a piece of PVC pipe that would be longer that may prevent slippage if that's the case. This is our first sizeable pool and maybe the LAST if we don't get it this time. Any suggestions?

Which brand and model did you buy? How well did you level the base and what was used to lay this base?
