Just a few questions about living in college dorms. Should I buy earplugs? Do schools allow more than 2 people to sleep in a room if they go to the same school or would we have to sneak them in. I think its allowed but can girls be in a guys dorm? Maybe any other little things that would help you could mention too. Hope my room mate is rich lol.

Earplugs might help. Dorms rooms can have a number of people living in them depending on the dorm and school. Its not always two to a room. But most schools will require advance notice for a "guest" to stay over even if they are a student in the school. Sneaking in a guest can get your dorm privileges cancelled or maybe get you expelled.

While some dorms are co-ed, dorms rooms are generally not. When you sign up for dorming you should get a list of rules, dos and donts etc.

And your room mate may be up at all hours of the night, coming and going. I know at one college where I worked, some students were going to library and even labs at 2 or 4 in the morning.
