Hi! I am trying to find my biological brother, who my mom and dad gave up for adoption at birth. He was not named by my parents, and I don't have an exact date. What I do know, he was born at St. Lukes Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA between 1983-1984. Mom's maiden name is Julie L. Ableman. Dad's name was ( he is now deceased )Rodney Sellers. Can anyone help me find him.

We are not a reunion website.

You have no recourse to search besides a reunion website, as you are not the birthparent or the adoptee.

Register on reunion websites (adoption.com, adoption.org, and ISRR are good ones) and hope your brother is also looking.

You can also hire a private detective but that can get very expensive.

Remember that your brother may not know that he is adopted and if he is not also looking, it may be traumatic for you to just show up in his life (assuming you find him with a private detective).

Why are you the one looking and not your mother?
