The Camera appears to record but the touch screen does not function, so I cannot forward, rewind or play. The DVin symbol comes on - maybe significant?
Can anyone help?

DId you ever figure out how to fix the touch screen on the dcr-hc26? im having the same prob thanks for the advise

Sorry I meant Windows 7 it will not work with, I did noy mean Vista.
