I have a Nikon L22 digital camera and I have never had a problem downloading pics from the camera to my computer with the use of a USB cord before, now they won't download what can I do? I have of plenty memory on my pc and they scanner and camera wizard reads fine when I attach the camera to the computer but when the boxes appear to select photos to download they're always "downloading"...why?

Try adifferent usb slot, I have found that no all slots are identical and my camera will work on some but not all. Especially case front ports which seem to be less powerful and cannot work as usb2.0. You should get yourself a portble card reader. You can get them from Office Max or Best Buy, I even got a few for $2 at my local Marc's store. With them you pull the card from the camera and put it in the reader and plug the reader into the usb slot. With these, you do not even have to install camera software which often installs tons of useless stuff. Just pull your card and put in the portable reader and you can copy and paste the pics or cut and paste and even format the card from within Windows.
