Is there something wrong with the kitten? She may realize it's dying. Bottle-feed it? (a very intense process)

Nette, bottle feeding kittens takes two people. Of course you will have to start immediately if you have not already done so. If the queen hasn't started feeding them by now and yes, Wondergirl is correct, the kitten she is taking out is probably too sick to survive. Is this her first litter ?

This website on About.com is excellent information on how to get started and what to feed. It isn't all that difficult just very stressful when you have a little mouth searching for the food.

Please let us know what is happening with the kittens.

Maybe she is feeding the others when you aren't around. DO NOT use cow's milk to feed them.

I fed newborn pups with sma, so, yes, do it, anytyhing that will help, but you have have to use baby bottles and the nipples will get torn from sharp kitten teeth.

I agree with wondergirl; you are not seeing what is going on entirely. I don't see why she would not feed one and not the others. I think you may have to latch them on to her teets and show her what has to be done. I have done that before too, god, so many times over the years. Sometimes they have to be shown. The queen is confused; first litter are always the toughest.

Thank you every one for your help.
I will keep putting her back in her box with all the kittens and keep an eye on her.

Keep an eye on the 3 kittens that you don't think she has been feeding. If she really isn't feeding them, they should be dead after a week of no food. If not, she is more efficient than you know, and you probably can relax a bit. If she is feeding the three, don't you start, as long as they appear to be developing along with the one she is hauling around.
