I have a submersible pump that is about 300 feet down and the well head is about 50' from the house. I have a "50 gal" bladder tank in my mechanical room. My house is "insulated concrete forms" construction in a neighborhood so quiet that I can hear a car coming a quarter mile away and it is an event to see one drive by. It is quiet here. When my pressure tank calls for water I hear a fairly loud ohmmmmmmmmmmmm until it is back up to pressure. Is that normal?
