I am 48 and in a wheelchair. I got caught stealing groceries, had not intention of it but I did and was wrong into doing so, once they caught be, I said ooops and told them I would pay and they didn't let me. I met the police and he charged be with it. I have never had any tickets or any fines, etc. I screwed up and I'm very sorry. I have heard about a diversion program, will I be allowed to have this done to me.?
My mind has been a bit cloudy due to a fall last week where I broke my nose and a concussion. I admit to stealing but its not like me at all. I am very remorse and will never do that again. Please help .

Diversion and any other outcome depends on where you are. At your age I very much doubt you are eligible for diversion.

I don't understand how you were stealing when you had no intent to steal - ?

If there are medical circumstances which may be clouding your decision making you need to get that verified by a Physician. Take the medical proof to Court with you.
